Doing (Not Debating) Qabalah and Ritual

Time

11:30 - 1

Location

Workshop Tent 1

The sisters, siblings, and brethren of Mithras Oasis are proud to share useful steps to incorporate Qabalah into your life in several ways that are actively practiced by hundreds of ceremonial magicians. We’ll talk about words of power as we guide all in the “Middle Pillar Ritual," then review the space created within the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) and perform one LBRP as a group; concluding with the “paean” to PAN and signs of N.O.X. used in Aleister Crowley’s “Star Ruby” -- first discussing why parts differ from the LBRP -- then demonstrating a full Star Ruby.

The members of Mithras Oasis are diverse and free individuals -- many of whom practice several forms of ritual magick (members are diverse, from theists to atheists; to Wiccans; to Masons or Buddhists; from female, male, non-binary, and queer). Whether using devotional techniques from Bhakti Yoga; Christian mysticism; or cognitive behavioral psychology, a free individual actively chooses to live an authentic life and to blaze their own path through the jungle of life.

Mithras Oasis is a chartered body of Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), a hierarchical, religious membership organization whose mission is to effect and promote the doctrines and practices of the philosophical and religious system known as Thelema, with particular emphasis on cultivating the ideals of individual liberty, self-discipline, self-knowledge, and universal brotherhood. To this end, OTO Mithras Oasis conducts sacramental and initiatory rites, offers guidance and instruction to members, organizes social events, and engages in educational and community service activities.
